Grace Beijing, recently opened by boutique hotels group Grace Hotels, in the Chinese capital’s 798 Art District, has announced a special concert plus two exclusive dinner nights in its Yi House Restaurant for a unique experience in one of Asia’s hottest destinations this autumn.
On 21 October, the Polish string quartet Penderecki will perform a programme of classical and modern works by Mozart and Schubert, contrasting with contemporary pieces by Marjan Mozetich and Dun Tan. The quartet has recorded for international labels such as EMI and regularly performs throughout the world. Also starring will be the internationally acclaimed pianist Grace Fong. Currently Director of Keyboard Studies at the Chapman University Conservatory of Music, Dr Fong has collaborated widely with a range of dancers, filmmakers, fashion designers, and artists to develop her interest in crossover styles.
During 21 and 22 October, guests will enjoy a sumptuous five-course seafood tasting menu, starting with champagne cocktails and designed exclusively for the event by guest chef Guillaume Galliot from Macau’s luxurious City of Dreams. Chef Galliot has a superb reputation and visitors to these exclusive Grace Beijing events will be able to experience his cooking in person.
